Chapter 5, Page 16 Vague memories.

The road to Itasca?

It was after I'd already drawn out this and the following sequence that realized (Dad told me) that the road to Itasca is nowhere near the road to Duluth. Unless we went a couple hundred miles out of our way.

Oops. ^^;

Okay, so I moved parts of the state of Minnesota around. I'm the author! I can do that!

That's one of the things I like about writing fiction. You can say (to yourself, unless you're really careful about keeping your voice down):

"I - am - THE AUTHOR!"

Maybe it's because lots of parts of Minnesota look like lots of other parts of Minnesota.

Heck, Arthur C. Clarke once moved the entire country of Sri Lanka 500 miles south for a novel.

So I'm in good company.

He is the guy who wrote The Sentinel, right? That book that 2001: A Space Odyssey is based off of?

OK, the door and the light switch?

The door *was* the light switch. The light turned on if the door was closed and turned off if you opened the door. Interesting set up but more frustrating than useful.
