Not much to say right now. Particularly since I'm not feeling the best. Hope everyone enjoys the new chapter. Mary's turning 14 in it. Should be, uh, interesting.

Hang in there!
That cover illustration reminded me of part of a song from my Good Old Days:
"...I pushed my soul in a deep dark hole and then I followed it in
"I watched myself crawlin' out as I was a-crawlin' in..."
(Just Dropped In)
Ah, those were the days!
I'm very glad we're living now.
I remember you singing that song. You have very strange tastes.
And you'll note that I rejected the duplicate posts as per your request.
Funny things technology will do, eh? Maybe the browser really likes that song, too.
Nice cover, Brigid!! You are very good with color, y'know. How come you don't do more CG work over at MT?
And, Norski, I remember that song from back in the day too! And, yes, those WERE the days, Dude! IMHO better than these days - at least you could keep a job if you wanted to.
;-)
Because color pages take a lot more time that screen tone. That's really the only reason. If I had the time I'd definitely do more color pages for MQC.
As for the 60s, wasn't that the decade when a lot of college professors were experimenting with the same drugs their students were?
Brigid,
I think you're remembering Timothy Leary. He says he didn't, now. Not an altogether imprudent position to take, all things considered.
Yeah, it's really easy to run out of time for all the stuff you'd like to do. Too bad, 'cause you do do nice colorations.
And, yes, that was the sixties, and, no, not everyone was on drugs. I know none of my instructors were - no mellow to be found. Well, there was this one social studies teacher.... I was a republican then and we used to take up all the class time debating just about everything in the news and society of the day. By my second year of college I realized he was right about everything. I wrote to thank him for making me keep an open mind and examining my beliefs on a regular basis. ;-)
I love the term "experimented with drugs" - popular phrase with politions in the 80s and 90s. I heard a comedian once call them out on that saying, "So you were, like, standing around in lab coats with clipboards and smoking pot?" I recall there was one politico who said he tried pot once but "didn't inhale" - hmm who was that?
Anyway, Happy New Year!
Now I gotta go say a couple of "Hail Miho"s. ;-)
