Neither I nor Mary have much patience for poetry, with the exception of Tennyson. Particularly his poem, Ulysses. It helps that it's a pretty straight forward poem, which almost sounds like an oxymoron.
In any case, this is mainly a little character sketch of Mary and Ruth. I still don't understand why Ruth would want to dress like a grandma on a regular basis.

All of life is an adventure. You just have to see it that way. =^-^=
Love the new comic, and the sentiment therein (I am just a big romantic at heart, after all).
@Brigid: Ruth definitely reminds me of someone I know.
Oh, wow. A babushka to school? Seriously?
I remember wearing a Greek fisherman's hat to school but I didn't think anyone would do something similar.
@Robert: Yes it is!
@Dan: Glad you like it!
@Journo: Ruth's real-life counterpart insists that it wasn't a babushka. Tomato, tomahto. The effect was the same.
A Greek fisherman's hat sounds cool. Maybe I should get one of those. (I love hats.)
@Brigid: Yeah, mine is currently retired (my head is too big for it) but I miss it so.
It looks a lot like Mary's old hat to be honest. I'm sure she would like it. ^^
@Journo: Probably. ^_^ You know, I can't find my old hat. I know I put it somewhere safe. But it's not in the safe places I thought I put it.
@Brigid: Oh, that's too bad :(
@Journo: Yeah. I like to think it's somewhere in storage and that it'll turn up eventually. Of course, it might have disintegrated. It was a very old, worn-out hat.
@Brigid: I hope not. That way, when some lucky fan see it, they will gasp and say....
"*Gasp* Mary McAlister's hat...WITH AUTHENTIC WEAR AND TEAR!" XD
@Journo: lol! Now wouldn't that be something!
