Chapter 7, Page 25 Doom and Gloom

There are times of year that are just bad for the mood. Dad seems to be especially affect by the spring thaw. Maybe it's all that damp. Weather certainly seems to have some role.

Okay, so it's not particularly funny. I was kinda reaching this time around. It's been an interesting couple of weeks.

Chapter 4, Page 50 Unseasonable cold

As a Minnesotan I have some difficulty with this global warming concept. Especially this year when the lake ice stayed around until just last week.

In any case, thinking that humans cause global warming and are going to destroy the planet or whatever seems like a serious case of arrogance to me.

That's my take, anyway.

Chapter 4, Page 47 Keep busy.

Boredom is a dangerous thing. If you become bored you put yourself at risk of being assigned chores.

At least that's how it is for Mary.
