I've never been good at this sort of thing. Like Mary, I have a need to protect everything. Of course it's impossible, but that's our instinct.

I've been telling and writing stories my whole life, though, and, hey, it's something I enjoy. Whether I manage to make a buck at it isn't that important to me.

Well, except for the fact you're a good person. You were back then... and it seems to have followed you through to adulthood that this still means so much to you.
