Chapter 15, Page 13 Waiting Room

That chair is starting to look delicious.

I've never done any kind of fasting well. Doesn't matter if it's medical or spiritual, I go more than two or three hours without eating and my body starts complaining. Which is probably why I have such a ridiculously hard time losing weight. (That, and I'm a little lackadaisical about the whole thing. Now that I'm having trouble fitting into most of my pants I may, possibly, actually put in an effort.)

I'm not sure if Dad realizes how close I was to gnawing on his arm (or the arm of my chair) while waiting for surgery.

Chapter 14, Page 20 Distracted

Plasma globe are shiny.

Plasma globes are made of pure, concentrated awesome. Appropriately enough, they were also invented by real life mad scientist Nikola Tesla. He seemed to specialize in making things with limited practical applications, but, man, do they look cool!

Also a little shout out to the Headwaters Science Center in Bemidji. I'd go back to Bemidji just to visit that place again. (Well, that and the the mini-golf course with the 3-foot metal sculpture of a mosquito.)

Chapter 11, Page 11 Distracted

Talk about big game hunting.

So Mary is back in driving class. Or, at least her body is. As usual, keeping her mind in the same reality that her body inhabits proves a little too hard. Maybe if the classroom didn't feel like a rainforest.

Chapter 9, Page 7 A key distraction

Introduction to awesome.

A summer of lagging on updates makes for a difficult return to a regular schedule. Doesn't help any that I have a lot of homework. ~.~ I have a lot of MQC drawn, I just haven't inked or scanned any of it in.

Oh well. Try to guess what Mary's discovered. Looking at the tags is cheating.

Chapter 5, Page 3 Lunch Delivery

Delivering lunch

Don't get too distracted, Mary!

But what is that she's looking at? I'll tell you, on Friday. Bwa-ha-ha-ha-ha! Um, yeah.

Chapter 4, Page 20 Distraction

Don't wander off.

Clothes shopping. Bleh. Never did like that. Now if Mary could be let loose in the electronics section while everyone else does whatever things would be peachy.

Well, except for the part about having to find shoes that fit. That's gotta be the worst part of shopping. Usually takes several stores to find a good pair of shoes. (Very odd shaped feet. I blame Dad.)
