Chapter 6, Page 38 Is there a God?

Does God exist?

Quite heavy stuff to end the chapter on, eh? Well, the next chapter starts a little heavier but gets lighter after that. Just an FYI.

I could have gone on with Dad's explanation, but that would get long and I don't want to sound like I'm preaching. (Especially since I know there are readers out there who don't hold the same world views as I do.) Trying to find a balance between the importance of religion in Mary's life and making this work accessible to a wide audience is a little tricky. I'll just leave it at Mary's question about the existence of God gets answered in a satisfactory manner.

Chapter 5, Page 37 Far out outfield.

I need to protect him!

That odd shaped thing between the back of the baseball diamond and the mid ground building is supposed to be a propane tank. A propane tank that I remember sitting and playing on a lot. (I know I wasn't supposed to, but that never stopped anybody.)

Sorry that this update is a little late. This sequence is hard enough to write without Photoshop eating my progress. *grumble**grumble**complain*

Chapter 4, Page 7 Misunderstanding

poor Conny

There's a little typo here. It's really kinda stupid. Mary is already twelve, it should read "Comes with being (almost) thirteen."

Anyway, a little sibling jealousy is normal. But for one she never even knew? And Mary is oblivious to, well, everything.

Chapter 3, Page 8 Nagging Doubt

Anyone else have moments like this? Blaming yourself for problems that aren't your fault? It's pretty much standard for me, and thus Mary.

Future updates may be a little sporadic, though I will try to keep my self-imposed schedule. I've come down with a bug, you see, and working on this story is a little difficult when all I want to do is sleep.
