Ah the world of dreams. If that was reality Mary would be a splat on the pavement in a couple seconds. Of course, if this was the real world there also wouldn't be a horse with wings. ^_^
The boy who owns the horse will recognize himself, I think.
Poor Conny. She really wants a little sister. I think she's tired of being the youngest girl. Unfortunately, Mary doesn't share (or even understand) her desires. In fact, Mary is pretty much convinced that the baby will be a boy, as you can see here.
Only time will tell which is right. Which will have her wish granted.
I'm Brigid, not my birth-name, but the one I chose for Confirmation. It's a Catholic thing. Want to learn more about how I grew up? Check out my semi-autobiographical webcomic, Mary Quite Contrary.
The closest I've come to earning a living as a writer is one summer I worked as a feature columnist for a small-town newspaper. I've been telling and writing stories my whole life, though, and, hey, it's something I enjoy. Whether I manage to make a buck at it isn't that important to me.
