Sorry for the delay.

I'm having a little difficulty with my computer and am currently at my Grandpa's. Unfortunately, it seems Grandpa doesn't have any USB ports on his computer so I can't upload the images for the next comic. I'll see about making a double post on Monday to get things back on track.

Thank you and sorry for the inconvenience.

Again with a late post? At least it's on the right day. Still, sorry. I had a job interview this afternoon and a splitting headache this morning. Don't know if I'll get the job, but at least there's a possibility I will.

Now, about the comic. I really think sex ed should be taken out of the public schools. It certainly isn't right to go into such details with 5th graders without parental consent!

What is a good way to teach kids? I just know how my parents handled it, and it worked so I guess that's one way.

Chapter 3, Page 8 Nagging Doubt

Anyone else have moments like this? Blaming yourself for problems that aren't your fault? It's pretty much standard for me, and thus Mary.

Future updates may be a little sporadic, though I will try to keep my self-imposed schedule. I've come down with a bug, you see, and working on this story is a little difficult when all I want to do is sleep.

Chapter 3, Page 7

I still haven't been able to explore that swamp. *sigh*

Anyway, update is a bit late in the day again. I have a cold or something, though I haven't been sneezing and I don't feel congested.

Maybe it's the flu. Who knows.

Chapter 3, Page 6 Bad Timing

A little break in the storyline. This actually has more to do with the next chapter than this one.

Ever notice how guys are really terrible at compliments? Even when they do say something nice it seems to be at the wrong time.

What's amazing is that they still live longer if married. You'd think the wives would kill them.

Chapter 3, Page 5, The Big Question

Sorry this got up a little late in the day. I've been rather absorbed in the last Harry Potter book. Smashing finish to the series, so far, if I may be allowed a little use of British slang.

Granted, I haven't finished it yet, but it is quite gripping. I've been having trouble tearing myself away all day. (Even when I couldn't see the book through my tears.)

Ah, well, hope you're enjoying the mounting tension. At least I hope that's what's mounting. If it's mere frustration or a desire to lynch me I think I'd rather not know.

Right, anyway, some of you may have noticed a button somewhere to the right. I think it's under the shoutbox, actually. (Really need to work on the navigational structure of this blog.) Okay, there are several, but the one I'm referring to says 'bookmark.' It's from Add This! and is supposed to help add this page to your bookmarks (thus the name ^^; ), but I'm not entirely sure of its cross-browser compatibility.

Let me know if it work, okay?

Chapter 3, Page 4, Search for the License

And so a little seed of doubt is planted and begins to sprout.

I do have a question left unanswered from back then. *Does* it matter what state you got your teaching license from? Why would it matter if the license is out of state?

Okay, technically that's two. But they're closely related.

Chapter 3, Page 3, Red Tape Forms

And so we reach the actual plot of the third chapter. Hey! And we're only 3 pages in! I'm getting good at this. It usually takes weeks for me to introduce the central plot. ^^;

If it sound weird now, keep reading. It gets a lot weirder, and a lot more personal.

Chapter 3, page 2. The Church Booms

Don't you just love cold season?

And just to make things more interesting, Mary's Dad sings very loud. I don't know how clear that is in the comic, I tried to make it clear, but one never knows until the comic is read by others.

I do hope this new set up for the comic works. It still seems unusual for a comic to be on a blog.

P.S. Sorry about the missing image. ^^; Fixed.

Chapter 3, Page 1. Early to Rise.

Ah, the joys of school. The one problem with home schooling is that you never leave school.

Of course, the advantage is that you're always at the head of your class. ^_^

Chapter 3 starts NOW!

Hurray for new chapters!

The part of Moses will be played by a chubby, middle-aged gentile with two bum legs. ^-^;

I hope to introduce more of the neighborhood in this chapter. The last page of chapter 2 briefly introduced the swamp. You'll get to see more of it in this chapter. I hope.

The New Home of MQC

Hi, hi!

Well, a variety of things have conspired to make me move to Blogger. I could go into detail, but this isn't for my personal thoughts.

Erm. Actually, it is, but in the form of comics.

This first post is a test. Much of the archive will remain on ComicGenesis for now. This will just be new episodes starting with the new chapter.

The old site is here on ComicGenesis.
