Chapter 4, Page 18 The Taunting Begins

The suspense is thrilling her sisters.

Not to say that Mary doesn't do the same thing when her sisters' birthdays come up. She just reacts more strongly to it.

The tune goes a bit like when someone says "nya-nya, you can't catch me."

What presents will Mary get? What am I going to do for Friday's episode? Can I hold back this cold long enough *to* do something for Friday?

Just have to wait and see.

Chapter 4, Page 17

inches from death

Mom would never actually kill Dad. Though she does know exactly how much he's worth alive and dead. Apparently he's worth slightly more alive. ^^;

Still, there are moments when he does something incredibly stupid. Can't really blame him here. He's completely zonked.

Chapter 4, Page 16 Count Down to Birthday

growing up is scary

I wonder how many other kids that age are afraid of becoming an adult? I know I was, though I also thought grown-ups got the coolest toys.

Ah, the conundrums of youth.

Chapter 4, Page 15 4th Wall

And there goes the 4th wall.

This isn't going to happen much, I hope, but I thought I should give some excuse for these two oversights on my part. And who better than Mary to explain it considering I was hardly in a position to hold a pen at the time. I'm starting to feel a bit better now, and hopefully I'll have an actual proper update for you on Friday.

At least I better, I don't feel like committing seppuku right now.

Hozowokamu = I'm very sorry!

Sorry for the delay.

I'm going to an anime convention next week and because I've been so busy getting ready I haven't prepared any episodes for today or next week. There are some sketches, but nothing finished. Once I get back I'll be working really hard on catching up. Promise!

Bye!

Chapter 4, Page 14 Freaking out Mom 101

Mary isn't always this dumb.

Kids are great, aren't they? I'm pretty sure most of Mom's grey hairs are from Mary. What's surprising is that she doesn't have more.

But seriously, did Mary really think Mom wouldn't notice the trail of ice water she was leaving? Or the stiffly damp pants?

What's even more remarkable is that this happens every year. Usually more than once. 9.9

Chapter 4, Page 13 Cold Dip

Mary is all wet.

Somehow, I think Mom's going to notice.

The ice was not easy to do. I still don't know if it worked. Anyway, that was a pretty deep puddle, huh? Mary should be more careful. Maybe a lot more careful.

Don't hold your breath.

Chapter 4, Page 12 Soaked

Mary gets a cold reception.

Don't you just hate it when ice forms over puddles but the water underneath doesn't freeze? So does Mary, now.

This isn't the river, thankfully, so Mary isn't going to be totally submerged. She will, however, have to deal with a tidal wave when she gets home.
