Chapter 9, Page 5 Repetative Repetition

Perhaps the most maddening aspect of babies.

I cannot begin to tell you how often I've done something like this.

I was helping my Mom mind the neighbour's daughter the other week while she was at a dentist appointment.

My mom was singing a nonsensical variation of "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" while I clapped my hands like a wind-up monkey for nearly an hour...

I almost forgot to stop clapping...XD

@Journo: lol I still wonder why babies will sit transfixed for what feels like hours doing something mind-numbingly repetitive when a few short years later their favorite phrase becomes "I'm boooooored!"

Yeah, well, I hope Mary enjoyed it while it lasted, because it would have been even more of a pain to relieve an older Peter's boredom.
