Chapter 9, Page 13 Why that look?

Mom is not happy.

Mary is in trouble. Though perhaps she's suffered enough for her crime?

No. Not at all. The suffering has only begun.

(Heh. I'm on the Mom side of this -- I am thinking of the torments that would be inflicted on my fourteen-year-old in this case...)

@Zach: Well, in Mary's defense, she was in something of a dilemma over this. Finding her sister vs her promise to watch the house.

But, yeah, definitely a life lesson moment here.
