I'm back! Miss me? Well, know that I have house sitting and visits out of the way (nice seeing you, Dan!) I think I should be able to keep a better schedule. Or at least a slightly more consistent one.

Car crashes are a natural part of learning how to drive. An expensive part, but still natural. (I had three in my first year of driving. Culminating with wrapping my car around a telephone pole; the pole was slightly bruised. My car... didn't make it. And I learned that day (and started to after that point) to always put on my seatbelt. ^^;; Ah well. Stupid cops and their cutting me off... sure, there was no stop sign there, but it was IMPLIED as they were going onto a main road.)

@Robert: And driving at the absolute slowest speed allowed by your vehicle does not prevent accidents. Another valuable lesson learned without too much property damage.
Ah, Brigid... *ruffles your hair* I've been in oh so many car accidents. And do you know something? The vast majority were not my fault. All you need is someone to be distracted by the radio or their cell phone and they rear-end you... maybe push you into the car in front of them. Or slide out of control because of icy weather and smack into your car. Going slow doesn't protect you from other drivers.
If anything? It makes you a bigger target.

All that I can say is that, having heard at least one of your "learning experiences" first hand (and still being of the opinion that it could be mined for some serious story potential; you know the one I mean), I don't feel quite so bad about the time that I got the gas and brake pedals mixed up. Sorry, Naomi! :D

@Brigid: Yeah, in fact, driving too slow can actually get you arrested...and made fun of, additionally.
