Chapter 11, Page 20 System crash

One command at a time!

Pretty self-explanatory, I think. Mary's systems crashed, and so too will the family van.

Oh dear.

*puts an imaginary kitten on Mary's head*

Just think of it as a learning experience, lass. ^^;;

Oops.

This is one of those places where, in the animated version, once all is finally quiet again (and while Mary is doing her bet impression of a turtle hiding it's head within it's shell) a single shard of glass falls to the ground with a loud "crash" and a strange, green liquid begins to spray from the crumpled hood...

In other words, it's where the Universe stick's it's tongue out at you. :D

@Robert: *twitch* *twitch* *pets kitty* ^____^

@Dan: Oh wonderful. I just got an image of the universe giving me a Bronx cheer.

@Brigid: Ha ha ha ha. Sorry, I just couldn't help myself when you made that comment about the Bronx cheer. Bit of schadenfreude there.

Don't worry, be happy. The Universe is an irreverent thing. I know it has definitely given me the Bronx cheer a few times.

@Journo: It seems to enjoy doing that. At least it has a sense of humor, right? (I just worry about its taste for slap-stick.)

And gotta love slipping German into a conversation.

@Brigid: Definitely ^^

I actually have a kitchen magnet back home with a picture of a pigeon on a statue:

"Some days you are the pigeon, others you are the statue"
