I maybe shouldn't be quite so amused by this, but honestly, the little thing was maybe the size of your average hamster. Might have even made a good pet. Why is it I always seem to be the only one who finds these surprise guests to be cute?
Might the mouse have actually been a vole? You mention that it was about the size of a hamster, and voles are about that size, but they still look like mice (on steroids).
@Dan: Funny you should mention that. Back then I described the critter to Grandpa and he said that it was probably a vole, too. Even showed me a picture that looked exactly like it. (Though for him the deciding factor was its stubby little tail.)
I'm Brigid, but I'm also Mary. So by reading my comic you learn about me. Most of the things that happened to Mary also happened to me. And when it hasn't then it's duly noted.
So enjoy the comic. And learn much more about me than a little blurb like this could ever say.
P.S. The contents of this site are copyrighted to me. Not you. If I see anyone stealing my stuff that person is going to regret it.

LOL, that was funny.
@Brigid: Ooh! Look! It's a fuzzy wuzzy mousey! *bouncey*
@Edward: A new commenter! Yay! Thanks!
@Journo: *squee!* Can I keep it? CanIcanIcanI?!
@Brigid: Oh, all right. But make sure you take good care of it!
(in other words, don't let your room mate see it XD)
@Journo: No kidding. My roommate would have it for lunch.
