Chapter 15, Page 3 Legal age

Legal age

What actually happened was somewhat different. After getting hired I was walking to work in my uniform and an old lady stopped me and asked where I was going. I said, "To work," and she gave me an odd look and asked for my age. "Seventeen." Her eyes widened and she said she would have guessed fourteen at the most.

I felt that would take too long to set up in the comic and so I did this.

Yep. It's probably genetic. Your mother was mistaken for a teen well into adulthood.

Me? I was never 'carded,' even when I should have been. ;)

@Dad: You were born forty.

@Brigid: When I was 16, people thought I was in my 20's. Now that I'm in my 20's, people think I'm younger. 0-0

@Journo: Maybe you seemed very mature then? That is odd, though.

People used to think that I was older than my actual age. Now I'm frequently told that I look younger.

@Dan: I guess at least it's moving in the right direction.

@Brigid: I suppose, so long as I don't look like a nine-year-old on my 101st birthday...

@Dan: If anime is anything to go by, you may be the right height.
