Chapter 14, Page 4 SOP around here

What, no moon suit?

Mom does this a lot around me. Remaining absolutely deadpan through most of my hysterics until I finally say or do one crazy thing too many and she has to cover her face and sigh.

I really did ask about "hazmat disposal" and "decon," by the way. I think I may have specified bleach when I asked about cleansers, though. Up side to all this is that when I was assigned that bathroom as the one I had to clean each week, I was *very* thorough.

Chapter 11, Page 23 On the upside

And the good news is...

Yeah, that really helps lighten the mood, Dad. But at least he's trying, right?

You know, when this arc is over I'm going to have to figure out what to do next. I have a bunch of idea files, but I'm starting to realize how few of them include material from my teen years. They couldn't have been that uneventful, could they?

Chapter 11, Page 22 Panic rises

I locked myself in a cop car!

Sorry about the delay. I really have no good excuse. Well, I guess house sitting for my little sister for most of the month kinda counts, but it's still bad.

Anyway... Uh, yeah. I actually did lock myself in the back of a cop car. Not my best day.

Chapter 11, Page 7 Summer Teacher

Ever get the idea that summer teachers are a little bitter about their job?

The justification is that this makes the future drivers aware of how much they have to learn. I can't help but feel there might be another reason.

Gah. The end of the month is coming. Bills, deadlines, hoo-boy. I will try hard not to let it affect the update schedule.

Chapter 9, Page 19 Suicidal wildlife.

Crazy and young buck are redundant terms.

Ever get the impression that Mary is rather tightly wound?

Though it is understandable under the circumstances.

Chapter 9, Page 14 Serious freaking.

Serious, yes, but maybe not that serious.

Well, at least Mary understands that there's a problem. A tad overly emotional about it, but she does have some understanding.

I had a lot of ideas for Mom's last line, but I think the 'oy' gets the idea across much more eloquently.

There may be some delay in the next episode as I work on some much needed computer cleaning and figure out just what the next episode is going to be. ^^;

Chapter 9, Page 12 Panic under pressure

Mary doesn't take stress well.

There are people who perform wonders under pressure. There are those who approach problems with calm and poise.

Mary isn't one of those people.

Chapter 9, Page 4 Bathing Brother

Little brother makes bath time, ah, interesting.

Remember, Mary, parenthood is not boring.

There is one thing even more certain to trigger embarrassment in an older sister than having to watch her little brother in all his naked glory taking a bath. That is realizing that said little bother is about to expose that naked glory to the rest of the world.

Little boys are not born with modesty, are they?

Chapter 8, Page 13 Beach Spectacle

Man eating minnows!

Some odd things have been going on with my computer. Hopefully it'll be straighted out soon and I can update more regularly.

Chapter 7, Page 33 Cleansing change.

What's Mary's problem?

I still prefer baths to showers. How is it relaxing when you have to stand the whole time?

Oh, and I know it isn't Mother's Day yet, but I just wanted to say, "Sorry, Mom, for everything I put you through."

Chapter 7, Page 9 Walking

First walking, then climbing.

Babies. Lots of fun. With the way Mary reacts to trouble it's amazing she hasn't had a heart attack already. Oh dear.

Chapter 7, Page 4 Little situation

Could be a big problem.

Ever have one of those days? I think Mary feels like she's having one. She may be right. (Maybe if she wasn't such a klutz...)

Chapter 6, Page 29 Secret Agent Dad

Mary freaks out big time.

An imagination like Mary's is a dangerous thing.

Just so you know, Mary's Dad isn't a secret agent. He was checking the CIA information data base for story research.

Chapter 6, Page 25 Wrong table.

Pumpkins can be punctured.

Poor Mary. Or perhaps I should say poor everyone in that building. Mary isn't exactly restrained in her displays of emotion.

Just how bad is the situation? Have to wait for Friday. I hope. Lots of stuff due in a short period of time. That and getting my application for an apartment straightened out.

(Yay! new apartment with an actual bedroom! And a bath tub! And counter space!! YAY!)

Chapter 5, Page 18 Psycho Goat

Mary didn't to anything to that goat.

That goat had issues. Big issues.

Mary was minding her own business chasing geese when BAM! this psychotic goat bursts out of nowhere and chases her! Finally ended up treeing her at the top of a slide. I'd illustrate the whole thing but we gotta get to Duluth sometime this summer. lol

Chapter 5, Page 7 Law? What law?

That's illegal! So?

Some might call Dad jaded. Some might be right.

Unfortunately, there really isn't much Mary can do about this situation. And, like most human beings, she hates feeling powerless!

What amazes me is that anyone bought that property. They do realize the area floods on a fairly regular basis, right?

Chapter 5, Page 6 Now, Panic!

For this she panics?

A little shout out to Ducks Unlimited a very nice conservation group run for and by hunters. Yes, hunters have a vested interest in maintaining habitats and animal populations. After all, if these places get destroyed where would they hunt?

The Trip swamp isn't large enough and is too close to town to make good hunting land, but it's still important. At least to Mary.
